Have you ever experienced pure generosity from anyone? If you have, then you
probably could not help responding with pleasure. You may have experienced
another divine emotion: gratitude. Welcome to the world of the eighth house, where
we learn to share what we have on all levels.
Traditionally, this house is considered to concern shared resources. What do we
mean by resources? Resources are all manner of things that we can share. Material
resources include money and property. Emotional resources could be described as
your goodwill, patience and support for people and things. You can share mental
resources, and you do every day. These resources include your time and support for
intellectual and artistic pursuit, your time and ability to plan and use your mind to
accomplish work. Your time it itself a resource, only you can decide how to use it
best.
Some people are gifted and abundant in emotional resources, but have little in
material resources. These are people who are willing to be involved with each other
in good and destructive relationships. Some have money to share, with little
emotions. And some have mental resources to share and offer others. Do you know
any people who seem to be good at making computers work? They are sharing their
mental resources with you.
We share because we want support from others. We share to create community, and
mutual help. We share the intimacy of sex with the pledge of marriage to insure that
the offspring will be supported with all the resources of each parent. We can share
material things we have very easily. For example, the government has the right to
force you to surrender some of your material resources. Is family an important part
of your life? You may be needed for your emotional resources. After all, the tribe
expects support.
More traditionally, your material resources are considered to be combined and
shared with your marriage partner when you got married. This is the meaning of
joining in holy matrimony. It is about sharing not only the momentary attraction, but
pledging to continue to support the union with our resources, what ever they might
be.
There is another level of resources that people of higher energy capacities can
enjoy sharing. That resource is spirit!
We each have our own spirit. It has its own needs and it offers its own type of
energy. When we are in balance it gives a reward of higher, purer emotions. Spirit
alone can bring unmixed joy, pure true love and unselfish generosity. Persons who
are said to be gifted in spiritual resources are able to change their mood from
contact with Guidance within. Respect your soul and you will learn how to make love.
You heard me; making love is a matter of spiritual energy. It is only possible to
generate more spirit resources through combining energy fields. Two people can
actually create etheric beauty and begin to contribute to their combined bank of
trust. I am sure this is the meaning of spiritual marriage and true union between
people. Anything less will fall apart.

house, which we are discussing today, tells how each of us is equipped with
resources and in what manner we are prepared to share those things.
A sector of sharing will describe what we must share. Do you have Saturn there?

the nature of the Sun. Is the Moon there, shy and gloriously female? Perhaps Mars is
in your eighth house. That means you wish to share combat, sport, coaching, and
competition is a resource you offer others. When someone wants a game, Mars in
