A Quiet Call To Action

By Brian Satterfield

I will begin by giving thanks to my wife, Barbara, who's love and support helped
me to produce this writing. Also, thanks to the Spirit Of Highest Good who guides
my words. The Spirit of Highest Good wishes to help all beings.

The world
is your own personal oyster.

Imagine if all the positive qualities we long for in the so-called "New Age" were
placed on a silver platter. The result of your yoga, meditation and consciousness
raising would give you complete control of your mind, body, and spirit. This would
give you power. You could control creation to make a change in world
management. You could control how people live their lives.
Dear reader, this is more true and less fantasy than you might imagine. We each
have the power to take control of our world. The trouble is, leadership is seen as
too much work.  People want power but not leadership. Nobody wants the job of
setting an example for others. But relax, it can be a wonderful experience. You
might hear some whines from the back seat about the way you might be driving.
Don't answer these voices of doubt; you could not tell them anything that would
comfort them. You are your own World Leader.

Shaping your world.

A closer look at Earth will reveal many elements which make it great. As world
leaders, we can promote the best part of the world. We can do this without
moralizing or suppressing what we do not like.
Now, let us take another look at this lump called the Earth. It has things we love
and appreciate, like harmony, art, beauty, and life. Many people do more good
than harm. These people want to help create a better world, too.
The way to support the positive is not necessarily by giving all your sympathy or
resources to the poor victims of trouble. Be positive and set a good example. Take
leadership of the world whenever you can. People will naturally be drawn to a
life-giving solution if someone can set a good example. Why not take charge today,
and be a world leader!

How to "fix" the world.

Somebody, somewhere on the planet will not be having the best time. Whole
societies are in turmoil at this time. Even well intentioned efforts to help them often
leads to misunderstandings, strife and avarice. We think people need a rescue, but
this is a bad ego trip. Everybody is their own personal responsibility if they
understand the true reality of free will. The common man does not understand that
his own thoughts of harmony or dissonance create his world. The common
individual does not know he is free.
Remember, under the great Law of Attraction, you can choose to be free or not,
determined by your own focus. You can also choose to live in a world not
crowded by the negative, limited thoughts of others. Now is the time to stop your
own whining inner voices. Refuse to vibrate at the frequency of limitation and
guilt. That is the way to fix the world.

The trouble with being "right."

Judgment must give way now, especially where it concerns other folk. You have a
choice to not be offended.  Although sometimes it is appropriate to point out the
error when you see a mistake, doing this alienates you from people. Let some
things pass, while others need correction. Make the effort to pick your battles.
On a collective level, our society declares war on things labeled as bad, like hunger,
terrorism or drugs. Collectively, we feel good about it. Individually, with awareness
and logic, we begin to understand that there is no need to fight. We can remove
ourselves from the field of battle, and live a life of our own choosing. In the midst
of economic downturn and power plays for world dominance, you can still choose
to be happy. You can tune your environment to love, peace and harmony by
taking leadership of
your world. Others may paint a grim picture of the future but
their machinations will not affect you. Remember, underpinning the whole
Universe is a love that blows the doors off of ordinary, earthly love.  If you are
tuned to that frequency, then nothing can harm you.

Yes, it's OK to have fun!

This is your
quiet call to action. By taking care of your own world you gain the
power to shape the whole world. You see that it is not necessary to go out and
feed everybody, enlighten everybody, save them or make them happy. Your
mission is simply to go to that place of harmony and peace within and
create your
own world of peace and harmony by tuning your consciousness to the higher
frequencies. As each person does this, there is an overlap with others of similar
vibration. The Earth is a joyous place of plenty when you take charge of your own
little part of it.
I urge you to visualize what your new shared world could look like. I invite you to
send in ideas you have, dear readers, and we will collectively format a vision for
the new world.
